Alexander grew up in Columbia Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis. He double majored in Finance and International Business, and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. After a gap year, he attended Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2013. During law school he clerked for the Federal Public Defender’s offices in Saint Louis City and East Saint Louis.

Prior to joining the Law Office of Van-Lear P. Eckert, Alexander maintained a solo practice serving his own clients and providing consulting services to other small firms in St. Louis and the surrounding area. Alexander has significant experience in criminal defense; business formation, governance, and litigation; commercial transactions; real estate transactions and litigation; and municipal law. Additionally, Alexander represents clients in personal injury suits as well as labor and employment litigation.

Alexander has played rugby for over 15 years. He is involved with both the Missouri Rugby Football Union and his home club, Sunday Morning Rugby Club, in supporting the continued development of the sport in the St. Louis Region.

Alexander is licensed in  Missouri and New York.
