Biography
John began practicing law in 1997. He has focused his practice on divorce and custody, personal injury, real estate, criminal, and general civil litigation. He began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney and later worked in the Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender. He moved to private practice in 1998.
John has successfully handled all areas of family law cases, from uncontested divorces to custody disputes and trials, to child support and spousal support, to complex financial and business divisions, high value property and asset valuations, including stock and retirement divisions. John has represented countless clients in personal injury matters over the years, and has successfully tried and won numerous cases in front of a jury. John is very active in his community and is a trained volunteer for the Illinois Lawyer’s Assistance Program.
When John is not busy at work helping his clients, he spends all his time with his wife and two kids, as well as coaching his kids teams.
